Autonets Fundraising Campaign – You can still donate!

UPDATE 6/16/2012: I have received roughly $700 in donations for Autonets! Thank you! But we need more and still haven’t reached the $1700 that was pledged via kickstarter. Please donate!

Thank you for donating to my Kickstarter campaign for Local Autonomy Networks – Autonets. As I did not raise the full amount of my overly ambitious goal, Kickstarter did not process any of the donations. Nevertheless, I still need the funds to make this project a reality. Please use the donation button below to send me your funds through Paypal, so that I can make more Autonets prototypes and travel to host Autonets workshops and present the project on panels at the Allied Media Conference in Detroit, the HTMlles New Media Festival in Montreal, the International Symposium of Electronic Art in Albuquerque and the American Studies Association in San Juan. I will still honor the perks for your donation levels, such as thanking you on the website and in the film about the project and sending prints from the performances.

Autonets is an art project dedicated to using technology for social change. Because of the in-between nature of this kind of art, it is harder to access traditional funding sources that would usually support more traditional approaches to art, technology or social change projects. Your donations make a huge difference in my abilty to create art!
